This tour will cover all the top attractions in Pest side partly walking and partly using public transportation. We will start our tour from your hotel/ ship and go to the city centre where we can take the „Millennium Underground” (the oldest underground in the European continent) to the City Park, the first public park in the world. There we take a short walk to the romantic Vajdahunyad castle, admire the beauty of the famous Széchenyi spa and study about the history of the Hungarians at the monumental Heroes' Square. Going back to the city centre we stop at the State Opera House and continue our tour to St. Stephen's Basilica where you will have your first Christmas market experience in front of the church. You can sip mulled wine and taste traditional Christmas cakes and street food. You will also get here a guided tour in the 2nd biggest church of the country. We continue our walk to the Parliament and take a tram back to the inner city where you can sink into the whirl of the worldfamous Christmas market in Vörösmarty square and shopping for gifts can go on! We will end our tour here, but upon request I can take you back to your hotel/ship. My tour is flexible, upon request it can be customized to your interests and you can even ask for extra hours.
