See your guide: DR KATE L.The Café culture in every big city of the ex Austro-Hungarian Empire is all-pervading. At the turn of the century, when people wanted to entertain, they didn’t usually do it in their own homes (which were nothing to write home about), but instead they invited everyone they wanted to impress into a café. Not just a café, but their regular café, where they were treated as family. Each profession had their own hunt, and these establishments had what your home sadly was missing out on. Chrystal chandeliers, guilded walls, marble tables, frescoes on the walls made them a place where it was a joy to be. We shall follow in the footsteps of famous, infamous, or run of the mill citizens and dazzle our senses with whatever these places have to offer. All your senses will be titillated, and while your eyes feast on the brilliant decor, and your taste buds enjoy the special treats, you can dream yourself back a century and a half...
