See your guide: Anikó S.When you first come to Hungary you usually visit Budapest and I would recommend you to take a „Budapest in a Nutshell” tour which covers all the top attractions and world heritage sights of the city in 4 hours to get the first impressions of Hungary. It's a walking tour but we can use public transportation when needed.
I will pick you up at your hotel and we will start our tour in the city centre to take the Millennium Underground (the oldest underground in the European continent) to go to Heroes' Square where you can get a picture of the history of the Hungarians. Then going back to the city centre we will stop at the Opera and visit St. Stephens Basilica the second biggest Catholic church in the country. To reach Buda side will take a bus and we will continue our walking tour in the castle area. In the castle we will see the former Royal Palace (from outside), the beautiful Neo-Gothic Mathias church and the Fishermen' Bastion with the world heritage view of the Parliament building and the Danube bridges.
The 4-hour long walking tour covers the following attractions:
Heroes' Square, Andrássy Avenue, State Opera House St. Stephen's Basilica,
The Castle District with the former Royal Palace, Neo-Gothic Mathias Church, Fishermen's
Bastion with the view of the Parliament and Danube bridges.
My tour is flexible, upon request it can be customised to your interests and you can even ask for extra hours.
