Let me show you one of the nicest part of the Pest side with fantastic palaces which originate from the ’Golden Age’ of Budapest: the turn of the 19th-20th century! We start our walk at the Vörösmarty square which is the heart of the downtown with the famous pedestrian Váci street.
We visit the St Stephen’s Basilica and enjoy the fantastic view of the city from the panorama tower of the church. Than we walk through the Liberty square, and arrive to a 'hidden gem' in Budapest which is called the House of Hungarian Art Nouveau where we can have a coffe break (up to your wishes) and enjoy the atmosphere of the ’happy times of peace’.
Our next stop will be the amazing and enormous Parliament building (outside).
After the Parliament you can make your choice to visit the Art Nouveau Museum or join me for a ride on the tram number 2 which is one of the most beautiful tramlines of Europe along the river Danube to the pedestrian area, where the tour ends.
