World Heritage Sites in Budapest, walking tour
See your guide: Anna Mária F.In this tour I invite you to discover the hilly part of the capital, Budapest, which is on the right bank of the River Danube. It's a walking tour.
We start at Buda Castle Hill in Budapest and enter a World Heritage Site: Castle District. Here we take a walk, and you will see, among others, the Fishermen's Bastion, Matthias Church, The Holy Trinity square, the Funicular, The Budapest Royal Palace (outside), and lots of charming little streets with cafés and restaurants.
Afterwards, we continue the visit towards Gellért Hill which is another World Heritage Site in Budapest. We take the public transport and cross a nice residental district in the hilly part of Budapest. On the top of Gellért Hill the best view of the city waits for you. Also, here you find the Liberty Statue, the Citadella, and lots of nice handicrafts. At the end of this tour we turn back to the city center of Budapest.
