4 Hour Long Walking Tour
|Transportation:||Walking & public transport|
See your guide: Zsuzsanna L.We start the tour with a little bit of time travelling: we take the very first metro line of the continental Europe from 1896 to find ourselves on the Heroes' Square where we go back even further in time and meet the kings and leaders of the golden age of Hungary.
In the City Park, among the beautiful scenery of the Vajdahunyad Castle, the Zoo, the Circus and the Skating Rink, we taste the Langos, just like Hungarian families do on week-ends. We peep into the Szechenyi Thermal Bath and drink the rejuvenating water.
After being recharged, we take a nice walk on the Andrássy Avenue. Our path is lined with beautiful villas, luxury shops, the Opera House and the House of Terror.
We have some rest among the cool walls of the biggest church of the city, the St Steven's Basilica and admire the most beautiful panorama of the Pest side from the top.
The Buda side and the Mathias Church is waiting for us, so we cross the river Danube over the Chain Bridge and conquer the Fishermen's Bastion to have a magnificent view over the city.
